Souvenir and Gift Shops

Not sure what present to buy for a birthday, Christmas, Easter or Halloween party or just as a memento of your visit to Bulgaria? Then head to the nearest souvenir and gift shop. These sell anything from tokens and presents to flowers and gift cards.  

Table cloths; T-shirts; coffee mugs; small figurines and refrigerator magnets seem to top the souvenir list yet many more objects can do the same job too. Food items, drinks and other products typical of the region also qualify as souvenirs. Traditional Bulgarian gifts include anything that has rose oil in it; handicrafts; home-grown herbs, jams, honey and wine.

Souvenir and gift shops are ubiquitous in popular tourist destinations as well as in cities and towns.
