Often considered the best cuisine in the world, French cooking is truly one of life’s pleasures. Coq au Vin, boeuf bourguignon, snails in garlic, fois gras, crème brulee are just some of the well known dishes associated with French cooking.
French restaurants serve a wide range of food to suit your taste and budget. For lunch a simple green salad (salad Nicoise) and the classic steak frite may be enough, whilst for dinner a starter of pâté, a main course of Confit de Canard (fried duck breast) followed by a Tarte au pomme (Apple tart) could be a good choice.
