Fairs and exhibitions dedicated to construction and furnishing, books, advertising, textile, cosmetic products, education, cars, to mention but a few, are held throughout the year in cities and major towns. The oldest and most well-known is the Plovdiv Fair held twice annually in the city of Plovdiv, while the capital, Sofia, boasts a rich variety of exhibitions.
