Providers & Services
Regardless if you need an ordinary shelf or whole house furnishing, think of every opportunity to buy furniture – hypermarkets, big chains, small shops (especially if they are near by) or secondhand furnishing.
Big chains undoubtedly offer great choice of beds, tables and cupboards to curtains, shades, pillows and other accessories. They might offer you furnishing not only for a type of room, but for a type of house or apartment. Often the prices are lower compared to the small shops but their location is distant. They offer interior designers’ consulting and the opportunity to take back the purchase, if it doesn’t’ fit your home. Another facility is free curtain sewing, which is not always offered by small shops.
Hypermarkets offer not only furniture and accessories, but also all materials and products connected to building and repair services. A minus is that they often refuse to sell samples.
Check Products series continuity if you plan to furnish your home for a longer period, so you can complete your furnishing with products from the same series or colors.
Warranty, Delivery, Assembling
Regarding the delivery distance and the amount of the purchase check the guarantee and the conditions of furniture delivery and assembling. Shops often provide transportation but sometimes it doesn’t include lifting the furniture higher floors. Ask if the transport tax and assembling is fixed. Check the term and conditions of warranty and post warranty services.
Last but not least – make sure whether you can return your purchase, no matter what kind of provider you choose. Buying secondhand furniture excludes the opportunity of warranty period, take back or exchange.
