In recent decades traditional Chinese cuisine has spread the world over winning palates with spring rolls, fried rice, Sesame Chicken, Peking Duck, sweet & sour or shrimp sauce. Chinese restaurants have mushroomed in Bulgaria as well.

Rice and noodles, sprouts, vegetables, meat and fish chopped in small pieces, seafood, soy products, a variety of oils, herbs and sauces are the staples of Chinese cuisine. The cooking processes include stir-frying, boiling, baking, steaming to come up with a healthy dish that is as good to look at as it is to savour.   
 
Chinese food will arrive with chopsticks but you can ask for a fork and a knife as well. Most Chinese restaurants offer takeaway too
