New Europe Directories Bulgaria EOOD was formed in April 2006. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of New Europe Directories Sarl, Luxembourg, owned by the Southeast Europe Equity Fund II (“SEEF II”). SEEF II is a private equity fund organized by Bedminster Capital Management LLC to invest in privately negotiated transactions in Southeast Europe and Turkey.
Since our first sales campaign, launched in November 2006 for the Sofia 2008 printed directory, we have published 17 editions of Golden Pages. These editions have covered substantially the whole of Bulgaria with a total circulation in excess of 2.3 million copies.
Our on-line directory, www.goldenpages.bg was launched in June 2007 and covers the whole of the country. Businesses can advertise in any of the 700 plus classifications and users can search through our database of more than 100,000 companies. The site is also available in a special version via mobile devices.
Our database is the most comprehensive and accurate database of businesses in Bulgaria. We check and update 100’s of records daily so that users can be confident that they will be able to find the supplier of a product or service that they are looking for.
Our customer operations use highly customized versions of Microsoft CRM, Navision and Sharepoint, and we have well developed internal capabilities in these applications. Our on-line search engine was designed in-house and developed for us by Netage. In April 2009 we completely redesigned and relaunched the site significantly improving usability and indexation. Most of this development work is now done in-house via our team of skilled developers.
