In the Golden Pages Online you will find the names, addresses and telephone numbers of thousands of Bulgarian companies offering products and services to businesses and households.
Just as in our print directory, companies are grouped in ‘classifications’ according to their activity and the type of product or service they offer. However, searching the online directory is different.
Search
As a user you can key in your search criteria by using the search boxes on the home page. You can specify the type of product, service or brand that you are looking for as well as the location where you would like to find a supplier i.e. the name of the town, city or village.
Users can also search by using a company name in cases when they are looking for a specific business.
Our search engine is available in both Bulgarian and English. In order to get the best results, our advice is:
- when searching in the Bulgarian version - please use Bulgarian words written in Cyrillic unless you are searching for a brand or company name that you know is only spelled in Latin characters. If you use Latin characters to spell Bulgarian words, we cannot guarantee that the Search Engine will recognize what you are looking for.
- when searching in the English version - please use English words and/or brand and company names spelled using Latin characters.
Search by Browsing
You can search directly for a classification by clicking on the ‘See all classifications in alphabetical order’ link on the Home Page. Alternatively you can use the ‘Selected Categories’ list.
A Category includes a number of classifications and its title summarizes the type of products/services offered by the businesses in the different classifications. E.g. ‘Computers and Internet’ or ‘Institutions and Organizations’
- Select a Category that is most relevant to the product or service that you are searching for. Click on this Category and you will be taken to a page containing all the classifications within in, which in turn are divided into ‘Sectors’ i.e. sub-categories. Using the above example, the ‘Institutions and Organizations’ contains 21 classifications in 2 sectors:
- Insurance
- Public and Social Services
- Click on the relevant classification and you will go to a page containing all the locations where we have advertisers and listed companies under this particular classification.
- Click on the desired location and a Search results page will be presented giving you advertisers and businesses with free listings for this particular classification in the area of your choice. Every search can give a maximum of 50 results arranged in random order (not alphabetically). If we have more than 50 advertisers and/or free listings in any classification, each one of them has equal chance of being displayed in the search results pages. Advertisers are always displayed above free listings.
- A Free Listing (or Entry) contains a Company Name, Address, Telephone Number and Classification and is identical to the Free Listing in the print edition. All companies can request, but are not guaranteed to receive a Free Listing (see our General Terms & Conditions ).
- An Advertiser is a company who has chosen to buy an advert in Golden Pages online or to participate in a free promotional advertising offer. The Advert can contain:
- Company Name, Address, Telephone Number and Classification/s
- Text
- Web Link
- Email Link
- Icons describing the products and services offered by the company, from a list determined by Golden Pages
- If you cannot find a relevant classification by selecting a Sector, (as described above), you can use our A-Z Classifications Index .
How to list my company?
If you want to list your company or edit your Free Line Entry you can now do it online. From the Home Page click on “Advertise in Golden Pages” or go to my.goldenpages.bg
1. Click on “Free Line Entry”:
2. You will then go to the page “Free Line Entry”:
- If you are already a registered customer you can add or edit your Free Line Entry/ies (Please enter your registered email and password in the ‘Advertisers login’ section on the right hand side)
- If this is your first visit to my.goldenpages.bg or you don’t have a customer account, click on the “Add Your Company” button.
Please fill in the surname of the person responsible for advertising. It is possible that a Customer Services Advisor might have to contact them. It is very important to give us a valid email address that you have access to as this will be the email address we will send a confirmation to and it will also be the ‘username’ with which you will log into your account.
‘Password’ – is the password you will use to log into your company account and edit the information we hold on your company. Please remember your password and keep it confidential. After you fill in the details, please click on the ‘Register’ button.
3. After logging in or registering, you will go to the ‘Company Information’ page where you fill in the Company Name, Location (town, city, village) and Bulstat. We will not show your Bulstat anywhere in the print or online editions and our users will not have access to it. We only need it so we can ensure that we don’t duplicate business data in our database and for identification purposes.
It is not mandatory to give a company name in Cyrillic, if the company uses primarily a name spelled with Latin characters. When you finish filling the form click the button “Next”
4. Check if your company is not one of these listings:
You have three options on this page:
- If your company is not listed click the button “My company is not listed” and you will go to the next step ‘Address’
- If your company is listed and the information is correct, click on “My company is listed. The information is correct” and you will finish the listing verification process.
- If you are listed, but the information is out of date click on “My company is listed but the information is out of date. Next step”. You will go to the next page to choose which of the listings is your company’s. After selecting which is your listing, you will go to the next step ‘Address’
5. Address
Depending on your preferences chose whether your company’s name should be published using the spelling with Cyrillic or Latin characters. The spelling with Latin characters is required for the English version of the site.
If you want your Free Listing to appear in the print or online editions only, you can select either one of the two options ‘I don’t want to be listed online’ or ‘I don’t want to be listed in the print edition’

Once you’ve you filled in the information, click on “Next”.
6. Choose classification
In the text field next to the ‘Search Classification’ button enter one or more words, which describe best your main business activity and click on the button. We will show you a list of relevant classifications.
You can only choose one classification for your Free Line Entry. After you’ve made your choice click on ‘Continue’
7. Confirm
In the last step you can see a visualization of what your Free Line Entry will look like.
On this page you can edit your company information – just click on “Edit” below the data you want to change.
When you are ready tick “ I agree” after you’ve read the “General Advertising Terms & Conditions” and then click “Confirm”. The last page is conformation for your Free Line Entry request.
