Sava Dobroplodni Regional library is the main library, cultural and scientific-information center in the Sliven region. It has a rich book fund of 350 000 library units. Organizer of the National Children's Book Festival.

"Sava Dobroplodni" Regional library is the main library, cultural and scientific-information center in the Sliven region. It has a rich book fund of monographs, reference books, periodicals, music, maps and graphic publications, CDs, DVDs, and other materials in Bulgarian and foreign languages, numbering more than 350 000 library units, it is an archive of local press, a center of bibliographic and information activities and the bibliography of the region, an expert consulting and training center for the libraries of the region. It implements projects related to: the automation of library-bibliographic processes, creating electronic resources of its funds and their presentation on the Internet, digitization of valuable collections, continuing education and lifelong learning, working with new media, cultural integration and civic participation, promotion of books, creating interest in books and reading in children, children's fairy tale theater, publishing, etc. It is an organizer of the unique for Bulgaria National Children's Book Festival, held annually since 1999, attracting more and more participants from the country and abroad.
