Bread, cheese, milk, salami, a pound of tomatoes and a bunch of bananas – if you expect to find them all under one roof, go to your local grocery or convenience store.

Although they offer a limited selection of products compared to supermarkets, convenience and grocery stores cater to various needs selling food, from bread, dairy products and meat to sandwiches, candy and snacks; soft drinks, beer, wine and liquor; as well as fruit and vegetables, newspapers, cigarettes and hygiene products.
