Learning to drive in Bulgaria could be slightly different from what you would go through in your own country. To find a driving school and instructor, check out your local directory.

Driving lessons include theory and driving, and in most cases you choose your tuition car. To get a licence, you need to pass a theory test and a driving test. Changes in both are envisaged as of early 2010: would-be-drivers will sit an online theory exam and their instructors will not attend the test driving. Both measures are meant to curb corruption.
