The company responsible for the highly successful online directory – www.goldenpages.bg has now developed and launched Bulgaria’s newest consumer driven site – www.getlokal.com. This is the place to find hundreds of user generated rates and reviews about places to go out, places for leisure, health, fitness and beauty, as well as a variety of other suppliers of products and services. Our users read, write and share their opinions with other users who need information about local places.
Our two products are continuing to grow rapidly and to make sure we are always at the leading edge we are currently recruiting for a Full or Part Time Web Developer, to be a part of the Interactive Products Department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop web sites and web-based applications
- Analyze, specify, design, test, and check quality prior to implementation
- Maintain existing web sites and web-based applications, including troubleshooting bugs and adding new features.
Изисквания :
- 2+ years experience in a similar position
- Experience with PHP / Postgre SQL, JavaScript (Ajax)
- Experience with Symfony framework is a must
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS
- Professional background with Linux OS is an advantage
- Previous experience with search engine technologies is an advantage
- Strong understanding of object oriented development
- Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle
- Experience with content management systems
- Experience in developing mobile applications is an advantage
- Organization and analytic skills, with strong problem solving ability
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to new ideas required in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop web sites and web-based applications
- Analyze, specify, design, test, and check quality prior to implementation
- Maintain existing web sites and web-based applications, including troubleshooting bugs and adding new features.

- 1 year + experience in a similar position
- Proficiency with XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript: DOM Scripting, AJAX, JSON and jQuery framework
- Building standards-compliant code based on W3C guidelines
- Translating graphical designs from Photoshop into functional, production-ready prototypes (static HTML builds)
- Identifying and addressing cross-browser issues during planning and development phases
- A good understanding of front-end code optimization is a plus
- Well-versed in upcoming web trends and technologies, such as CSS 3 & HTML 5
Nice to have:

System Administrator and Support

Изисквания :
Candidates applying for this position should have significant IT/support team experience and strong problem solving skills. A successful job applicant should have hands-on experience with more than one Linux operating system (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and should be comfortable with most aspects of system administration.
We are looking for a System Administrator who will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of both external and internal applications.
To be successful in this position should have solid understanding of the following:
• At least 2 years of experience in Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Knowledge for Windows administration (Active Directory)
• Very good knowledge in Web/Java application servers (Apache , PHP, Tomcat & Oracle EBS)
• Database experience - MySQL / Postgre SQL / Oracle
• Version/source control systems
• Shell scripting & basic experience in other scripting languages
• Good knowledge for networking protocols, BGP including
• Ability to perform performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Good command of English
Nice To Have:
• Knowledge for Asterisk and Asterisk based systems is considered an advantage.
